These products are basically produced from what is known as bio-engineered human collagen. These fillers will cause less redness, bruising and pain than the hyaluronic fillers and their improvements to your wrinkles last approximately four years. Collagen treatments are the most expensive derma fillers on the market. One of the early versions of collagen was bovine based and is still available for use.

This derma filler product was recently placed on the market after receiving approval from the FDA in 2006. It contains a high level of hyaluronic acid, which makes it quite effective for deep facial folds that can be found on the sides of a person’s mouth. The improvements from the injections can last from six months up to a year. Like the other hyaluronic acid fillers, people who take Juvederm for wrinkle injections usually have to deal with redness and bruising on their skin. You should talk to your dermatologist or physician in order to decide which wrinkle injection material is appropriate for you.
